Conduct chemical analysis of blood, urine & spinal fluid to determine the presence of normal & abnormal components; analyze biological material for chemical content or reaction; analyze laboratory findings to check accuracy of results; confer w/ physician/pathologist concerning test results. Operate, calibrate & maintain all the equipment used in conducting scientific, quantitative & qualitative analyses; establish & maintain programs to ensure the accuracy of analyses. Develop, standardize, evaluate & modify procedures, techniques & tests used in conducting the various analyses. Degree in medical technology reqd. 2 yrs exp in job. 40 hrs wk. 7am-3pm. Sal. $25/hr.
