Job Title: Control System Project Engineer
Location: Appleton, Wisconsin (relocation assistance available)
Position Type: Permanent full-time
Salary: 75 - 85k
Job Description: Our client is currently offering an opportunity for an experienced Control System Engineer in their fast paced, customer orientated Field Services team. The successful candidate would assist Control System engineering customers and project teams in the development, delivery, on-going maintenance and optimization of state of the art process control solutions for industrial customers.
Responsibilities include working with a Project team to:
Distributed Control System commissioning and startup
Distributed Control System troubleshooting and problem resolution
On-site control system modifications
Participation with multiple active control system customers
Coordination of field services engineering team
Maintenance training
Assist in the quotation and technical sales support of control system field service solutions
Troubleshoot and install Microsoft operating systems
Troubleshoot computer related problems
Troubleshoot and install networks
Setup Active Directories, Terminal Services and User Accounts
Education and Requirements:
B.S. Degree in Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
5+ years in the control system engineering field
Process Control System experience within the Refining, Steam Generation, Pulp and Paper, Steel and Specialty Chemical industries are a plus
Must be able to:
Meet project team commitments and deadlines
Work independently and as part of customer project team
Provide excellent oral and written communications
Travel occasionally to customer facilities
Participate in on-going learning (latest technologies)
