FAME Developer
Below is the profile for a Fame developer our Client is currently looking to hire either as a temp to perm or straight perm.
The hours as a consultant would be 10- 8pm and as a permanent employee they would be required to work up until 8pm everyday. The start time would be a bit flexible, but not a 12:00 pm start. Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
1. 5+ years as a Fame developer
2. 8+ years experience in the Financial Services industry
3. 3+ years experience performing analysis / producing reports for a buy side firm’s Research and Risk departments
4. Technical skills required include Java, Perl, Fame 4GL, C++ a plus; very strong Unix skills required.
5. A strong working knowledge of relational database management systems and time-series database technology
6. Must have exposure to a broad range of financial instruments including equities, fixed income, FX and derivatives
7. A demonstrable understanding of software development life cycle practices
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
9. BS in MS in technical field preferred
