Application Architect

Job Requirements:
Responsible: for the functional design and architecture of application systems across all technologies and platforms. Provides team or technical supervision and drives projects and service delivery. Delivers technical architectures that satisfy business domain or projects objectives and align with corporate/division architecture direct.
Basic Qualifications:
? 3 years experience in solution development and design, modern programming concepts and languages, application development and integration.
? 3 years experience in data architecture concepts- information management, database structures, database design, and data movement.
These are the Preferred tool sets:
Java, Web-logic, XML, Oracle, SQL Server, XML, DB2, COBOL, Ab Initio, Red Hat Linux Teradata, ALSB, ZOS, Z9, Blades, BPEL, Eclipse, Rochode, ClearCase, Business Objects, PMML and Superdome
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience designing and tuning systems for speed and performance
Experience leading third party or off-shore development
Experience with Lean techniques and Agile project methodology.
