Responsible for strategic management of all operations activities related to aftermarket repair at the Wichita Falls, TX facility.
Ensure all repair activity meets established quality standards. Maintain an effective team and provide leadership to drive performance to plan by supporting Business Unit Leaders (BULs) in utilizing ACE tools to improve process flow, quality, 6S, turn-around time (TAT), on-time delivery (OTD), and cost of poor quality (COPQ) reduction within a product-based cellular structure.
Promote continuous improvement throughout the organization. Direct the justification and acquisition of capital equipment in support of the business plan.
Maintain manpower requirements to meet production needs through efficient resource utilization.
Build a responsive and flexible culture where cross training and teamwork are key.
Aid in the development of policies, budgets, forecasts, strategic development, and succession planning.
Promote productive working relationships and coach BULs in effective supervision, including compliance to quality and EH&S regulations, policies and procedures; fair and consistent application of employee policies and procedures; and effective behavioral and performance management as needed.
CANDIDATE MUST HAVE:
BS degree in engineering or business is required
5-10 years of related practical experience.
Strong leadership, problem solving, interpersonal, and communication skills are required.
Ability to effectively interface with internal and external customers at all levels.
Working knowledge of ACE processes is a plus.
