Gorgeous Toy size dogs: Havanese Pups starting from $1200 and up. Ages 6 weeks to 4 months old. Most max out about 11 pounds. These cuddly balls of joy will be a welcome addition to any family. We call them lap monsters. We have three litters to choose from. One litter was born the week of Thanksgiving. Pet quality and show quality are available. Ready for Christmas and we will hold if needed. You may pick up from our Farm in TX or sister farm in VA. We can ship to you depending on weather conditions. Fee determined by distance. Usually not more than $250 through out the US and this includes the Vet Health Certificate, fees and all taxes.
A starting fact is that the classic Havanese in the U.S. came from a gene pool of only eleven dogs. Some authorities believe the dogs were brought to Cuba by Italian sea captains. Most agree that at one time the breed was near extinction. It is also believed the classic Havanese were historically lap dogs of the aristocracy.
The Havanese has now become a very popular and sought after pet primarily because of their playful and loving (and sometimes clownish) personality. Among their other attractive traits are their non-shedding coats, which are hypoallergenic which also lacks the typical “doggie-odor” common in most dog breeds. Such popularity also requires potential Havanese owners to be diligent when selecting a breeder.
AKC classification: Toy breed. The height 8 ½ - 11 ½.
Colors: Wide spectrum of colors and markings; Coat is long, generally flat and soft, described as silky and non-shedding, with a soft undercoat and thus hypoallergenic.
Our dogs are raised and live in a home environment. Our Havanese are free to frolic and play on a fenced ½ acre of land. I believe that such an open environment is a key factor in helping the puppies to naturally develop their loving, playful and charming individual personalities
All of our Havanese health records are kept up-to-date. In addition they have both the required and recommended health testing for this breed that has been set forth by the Havanese Club of America. All parents are Cerfed and free of genetic defects.
