Purnima is the Hindi word for full moon. Also known as Purnima or Pournami days on Hindu Lunar Calendar.
Pournami Vrat and Shri Satyanarayana Puja, which are observed on full moon day, might be experiential one day before of Purnima Tithi.
According to the Hindu calendar, Purnima falls on the day of full moon. It is accepted as a highly auspicious day for hindu. Purnima based on the fact of completion of the entire circle by the Moon around the Earth so it marks the end of the things that are no more required. Also, it is observed to be the divine period when all Gods are active. Especially for hindu, if devote worships Goddess Laxmi then it is believed that she will fulfill all their desires and wishes, give blessing.

Also, you should perform Satyanarayan Puja on the Purnima day at your home and offices. You should wake up early and take a dip in the sacred river before sunrise.
