Heatless desiccant air dryer remove moisture by passing air over a regenerative adsorbent material which strips moisture from the air. They are ideal for critical high quality oil free air treatment applications where very dry air is required.
Heatless adsorption dryer was developed for compression phases of up to 25, 40, 100, 250 and 400 bar. The smaller models permit space-saving wall assembly, while the larger dryers require less production area and height due to a new framework concept.
SCALA XH Series heatless adsorption dryer are simple and reliable method to remove moisture and impurities from compressed air. The outlet pressure dew point from -40 °C to as low as -70 °C. Compressed air flows alternately through twin towers filled with desiccant,It provide continuous dry air and regenerating the desiccant media through it's dry air, minimal maintenance is required.
According to the regeneration method of adsorbent, it can be divided into two types: heatless regeneration heatless adsorption dryer and heat regeneration heatless adsorption dryer. Since the heatless and heatless adsorption dryer works by isothermal adsorption, it is also called "pressure swing adsorption". The heatless and heatless adsorption dryer works by isobaric adsorption, also known as "temperature swing adsorption". In actual use, there is also a micro-heat dryer. From the form, the micro-heat regeneration dryer also heats the regeneration gas, but because the regeneration gas it uses is derived from its own low moisture content drying Air, so it is also a "pressure swing adsorption" dryer.
