It renders education to the students of HSC level under Dhaka Board. It aims at giving quality education to the students so that they can face the challenges of 21st century. This college is a silent witness of the significant turning points of the history of Bangladesh including the Language Movement of 1952 and the Liberation War of 1971. This institution has been contributing for a pretty long time to build a patriotic, secular and exploitation free society tolerant to different opinions. At present, Prof. Dr. Md. Rezaul Karim, a dedicated and promising academician adorns the post of principal of this reputed college.
