LA Matchmaking Team Sherri Murphy and Tammi Pickle Holding An Online Silent Auction Dec 1-Benefiting LA Children in Need The are reaching out for donations, and volunteers for their 22nd holiday party for LA’s most deserving children Sherri Murphy and Tammi Pickle, the LA matchmaking team at Elite Connections International headquartered in Westlake Village, are hosting an upcoming silent auction sponsored by their non-profit Party with a Purpose. The auction benefits some of LA’s most needy children during the holidays. This is Sherri and Tammi’s 22nd year of hosting children’s Christmas events. All proceeds from the LA matchmakers’ online silent auction Dec. 1-3 will go to host the children’s Christmas event at Safe Place for Youth (SPY) on December 9th and two additional children's events in December. The SPY children are unlucky in life and some of the most needy in California. With your help the LA matchmakers will buy new clothing, coats, shoes, backpacks, sports equipment, musical equipment, food gift cards, cell phones, and many other needed items. “Our goal is to give every child at our events the best Christmas they have ever experienced, “ stated Sherri Murphy. The children’s holiday events always turn out amazing and the collected gifts are given to children from the inner city of LA who otherwise would not experience a holiday. Some have never had a party or received presents. “ Each year we've been able to give hundreds of deserving children the best Christmas they've ever had, and most of all, we give them hope,” Tammi Pickle was quoted. Donations for this years auction will be accepted though November 30th. Of course you can donate to the children’s event anytime.
