TATA Solar Project - 300 MW Solar plant in Dholera SIR, Gujarat | |
Tata Power Solar Systems Ltd. has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd. (GUVNL) to develop a 50 MW solar project in Dholera Solar Park, Gujarat. The project has to be commissioned within 15 months from the date of execution of the PPA. The tariff for the project is ₹2.65 (~$0.038)/kWh. This is in addition to the 250 MW solar project that Tata Power Solar is already setting up in Dholera Solar Park. The Dholera Solar Park is a 10,000 MW ultra-mega solar park located in Dholera Special Investment Region (DSIR) in Gujarat. It is one of the largest solar parks in the world. The park is being developed by GUVNL in two phases. The first phase of the park, with a capacity of 2,500 MW, is already operational. The second phase of the park, with a capacity of 7,500 MW, is under development.
