Diving in the Cayman Islands | |
Though most famous for walls, the underwater landscapes of The Cayman Islands also feature more gradual slopes, spur-and-groove coral formations and shallow sites, along with several noteworthy wrecks. Diving takes place on all sides of each island. Sites to the west of Grand Cayman offer the calmest waters and close proximity to the majority of dive resorts, but boats visit all sides of the island, and divers are served by the most extensive scuba infrastructure in the Caribbean. Water temperatures remain in the low to mid 80s. | |
