A tragic accident took place in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday morning. A bus going to Mata Vaishno Devi temple lost control after its tyre burst near Jatwal village and it fell into a 20 feet deep drain. One person lost his life in this horrific accident, while more than 40 people were injured. According to information, more than 60 people were travelling in the bus, who were going from Uttar Pradesh to Mata Vaishno Devi temple in Katra. This accident happened on Jammu-Pathankot National Highway. According to officials, the driver lost control of the vehicle due to a sudden burst of the bus tyre. After this, the bus went off the road and fell into the drain. As soon as the news of the accident was received, local people and emergency teams immediately reached the spot. Rescue work was done swiftly, but one person died on the spot.  | |
